What is Syntex?
It’s a platform for automatically extracting structured metadata from documents, as well as a platform for generating documents using a new modern template architecture in Word.
(1) Understand documents: You can create an AI Model to understand fields in documents, upload documents of that type to SharePoint and have Syntex extract those fields into metadata about those documents.
(2) Generate documents: Add fields to a SharePoint list, and have documents generated automatically using modern templates
(3) Integrate Syntex templates into apps and workflows in Power Automate, taking document generation away from those clunky old-school Word templates
Document generation and classification is a huge area of inefficiency, especially for those organisations without a formal document management system.
We’ve been playing with this and it’s very useful – can’t wait to see what clients do with it!
